BIG NEWS in 2024! We reached our diversity goals with regard to gender and race. The diversity of the students attending our programs CLOSELY reflects the diversity of our community which is a testament to the value of our programs for all teens and our dedication to serve all teens.
As we reflect on 2024 it is clear that the WHOLE community was served by Thrive Clermont.
· Thrive Events provided an outlet for safe teen socialization that enhanced mental health and wellness by offering community events and skill building workshops.
· Teens attending Thrive events had the opportunity to learn key life skills to foster upward economic mobility which reduces anxiety about the future for the whole family.
· Local professionals, tradespeople and community members supported our local teens by sharing valuable wisdom, teaching critical skills and answering questions.
· The Adulting Program Events provided key training for career readiness (aka workforce development)
· Teen Advisory Council members learned valuable leadership skills by interacting in the community
There were also benefits to businesses and the local community that included:
· Increased student workforce readiness for current and future businesses through interactive training
· Connected employers with local talent through events that help build employer brand awareness.
· By offering safe and healthy outlets for socialization, teens are offered a positive alternative to other activities that lead to social and law enforcement problems.
· Increased community connections available for young leaders ready and eager to serve
